Meet Izzy Binnersley,
Speech and Language Therapist
Izzy enjoys building warm, trusted relationships with children and helping them find confidence, communication and enjoyment in learning.

A little about Izzy
Izzy values the connections she builds with children and the opportunity to provide care in a way that helps them feel safe and seen. Every child and every school day is different, which is one of the things she finds most rewarding about Speech and Language Therapy.
She loves hearing that a child has found confidence and enjoyment in something they previously found difficult because of a communication need.
Early Years language and communication development
Izzy particularly enjoys supporting Early Years language development and creating fun, engaging activities that make intervention enjoyable. Her wider professional interests include speech sound disorders and Developmental Language Disorder.
Her experience spans work with adults and children in acute hospital settings, community clinics, schools and nurseries, giving her a broad understanding of how communication needs can affect people in different environments.
Working with parents, teachers and Early Years staff
Izzy works closely with the adults around each child, helping parents and school staff understand communication needs and use supportive approaches throughout the day. She aims to be flexible and reliable, adapting her input to the needs of the child and the setting.

I love hearing that a child has found confidence and enjoyment in something they previously found difficult.
